	Remarks The EA-6B Prowler will be replaced by the EA-18G Growler. A quarter of the Orion fleet is grounded since December 2007 and may not return to service. The type will be replaced by P-8A Poseidons from 2013. The Navy is seeking fundings to purchase 48 V-22 Ospreys. The Navy intends to buy 480 F-35C Lightnings.
