Remarks
The C-X is a Japanese-built prototype transport aircraft entering service in 2010.
F-15s are taking over the reconnaissance role of the RF-4Es, which will be retired.
The P-X is a Japanese-built prototype maritime patrol aircraft.
Japan is looking for 80 fighters equivalent to the F-15K to replace the F-4.
