Folders by date and location (6 May 2009, Araxos - Greece)

Keywords
Keyword your photos and you will never ever have to browse dozens of folders ands hundreds of images to find back your photo!

Keywording a photo can be done in the Keywording panel

The photo is then added to the Keyword List

Due to the hierarchical structure we can now find this photo by searching for..

..a country (Netherlands);

..an aircraft type (F-16);

..or a registration (J-015).

Collections
Collections are a way of organizing your photos into 'virtual' folders. Smart collections are especially powerful. They allow you to automatically (!) load images based on metadata criteria that you specify yourself.

With smart collections you can automatically load images..

..by aspect ratio (portrait);

..by workflow state (missing keywords);

..by year (2008);

..by equipment (EF24-105mm f/4L IS USM lens);

..and even by location! (Koksijde)
